Mauricio was excellent and always attentive to what we needed. The concierge ladies were kind and had plenty of useful island information, and we loved that the Moana’s mascot was Baleia, the family dog. There were coolers to borrow and unlimited ice to take to the beach. The one thing I’d suggest to management is keeping the pool open later. Closing at 8 is far too early, it should stay open until at least 10 pm. We spent 4 nights at Pousada Moana Noronha, and it was the highlight of our visit to this beautiful island. Don’t be put off by the little dirt road, it seems common for places on the island. Check-in was seamless, and our clean room, # 14, was on the second floor with a direct, unobstructed view of the pool and Morro do Pico. The owners made the intricate woodwork themselves. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, with lots of Brazilian delicacies. My favorites were the mini croissants and Pao de Queijo, and everyone in our party loved the smoothies made with different local fruits.

Breakfast was freshly made every morning and tasted great, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Pousada Moana is a lovely place to stay on the island, with excellent facilities. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Fernando de Noronha.

The rooms were so comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Pousada Moana is pretty, the staff were friendly and helped us a lot throughout the stay, and the dog was adorable. We loved being there and can’t wait to come back.
