The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. When we arrived, it smelled nice, the AC was on, and music was playing, which made for a great welcome. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Breakfast was great, with omelets or tapioca made to order at no extra charge. They also offered free afternoon tea with pizza, cake, coffee, and fruit. It’s a lovely place with great food and a convenient location within walking distance of the central area’s bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place on the island.

The location was the only good thing about the inn. The rooms are tiny, the sheets and towels are dingy, and the old mattress smelled of mold. Breakfast had almost nothing, with very little variety and portions that felt tightly limited. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I wouldn’t come back.

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Aline prepared everything so well and welcomed us wonderfully. She made tapioca, crepioca, and omelets to order, and there was always fresh cake for breakfast and afternoon tea. We loved it! Choosing this inn was one of the best decisions of our trip. It’s in a great location, quiet, and near the town center and bus stop. Everything was clean and very well organized.

The breakfast and the warm, attentive staff made this simple, clean guesthouse especially welcoming. It’s also in a great spot, close to Praça dos Remédios, shops, and restaurants. It looks just like the photos. I’d definitely recommend it ☺️
