Tesouro de Noronha

The staff at Tesouro were kind, lovely, and very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the location was great. Breakfast was tasty, with the option of cooked food as well. There’s a bus stop, pharmacy, and mini market right next to the pousada. I’d definitely recommend it!

There was no internet at all, and construction next door spoiled the romance. Maybe that wasn’t an issue for earlier guests, but it was for me. The windows wouldn’t close, so bugs got in, and all the faucets leaked and couldn’t be shut off. I booked a buggy through them for $100 a day, but it was very hard to change gears. I also asked them to arrange a boat for snorkeling, and they couldn’t sort it out. The owner seemed more focused on taking my money than providing a good experience. I’m a level 6 Google Local Guide, and I usually only leave five-star reviews. I think this was the only one-star review I’ve ever given, because that’s what the experience deserved.

The rooms are great, and the pousada itself is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Tesouro de Noronha. The breakfast was simple, without much variety, but everything served was tasty and clearly made with care. Tony, the cook, was lovely, and his tapioca was especially good. The whole team was kind and helpful, from the warm welcome at reception to the attentive management. The place was spotless and well cared for, with comfortable rooms, an excellent bed, immaculate linens, and a great shower. The one thing to mention is that the bath towel was clean but didn’t smell very fresh. I brought it up with management at checkout, and they thanked me for the feedback and said they’d check with the laundry service. Their response showed real care and professionalism. I’d absolutely return. It was a wonderful stay in Noronha, and the pousada really lives up to its name.
