I’m sorry, but I felt completely misled. The inn was nothing like its advertisement, and the photos should be updated to show what it’s actually like. The inside was in much worse shape, while the outside was in such bad condition there was no comparison. The place felt neglected and run-down, and the experience was horrible. I lost my flight, so we only stayed two days and didn’t ask for a refund. If we’d stayed the full five days, I would have asked for my money back because I believe I’d have been entitled to it for false advertising. I don’t recommend renting this place. They were very attentive on WhatsApp and communication was good, but the pousada was nothing like the listing.

We were told that all the breakfast supplies would be left in the room for us to prepare ourselves and wouldn’t be restocked. Some items were taken away later, so we had to complain. There was a brief power outage one day, and as a result we lost water too. The air conditioner dripped constantly, and the lock on one room’s door was broken and wouldn’t lock. The lounge was also poorly maintained and didn’t look like the photos.

I had a good stay, especially thanks to Nalva, who greeted us so kindly. The food package was good, and they replied quickly to questions on WhatsApp. They provide a link to a WhatsApp group for ordering taxis, and there’s a shower at the entrance for rinsing your feet. I’d suggest improving the patio so it’s a more comfortable spot to sit outside in the evening for a drink or a chat.

The camera apparently wasn’t working, and there was no security guard or help from the inn. My daughter, a friend and my grandson had come hoping for a wonderful holiday in this beautiful place, but their stay turned into a nightmare. They were robbed while out on a tour and reported it to the police. After the police left, they started packing. The Wi-Fi suddenly went off, and motorcycles began passing slowly in front of the inn. With no cell signal to call the police again and feeling unsafe, they left to find somewhere else to stay. It was horrible, and the inn offered no support. They lost more than 20,000 reais, on top of all the panic and distress. Think carefully before staying somewhere with no security.
