The shower barely got warm, the microwave wouldn’t heat, the sink kept clogging, and water from the washing machine flooded the place. The toilet didn’t work well either, and the stove oven would shut off by itself and took forever to turn on. The car has to stay on the sidewalk, and there’s room for only one guest. The neighborhood was awful. The sheets had someone else’s hair and stains on them. One day might be manageable, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The main problem was parking. We asked for a garage, but when we arrived there was space for only one car. The owner said we could leave ours in front of the bakery on the corner, but the bakery owner told us to move it. There’s a square nearby, though you may end up having to park farther away. If your car is small, you might be able to fit it on the sidewalk at the corner, but it’s on a slope and the street is extremely narrow.

Good value, especially if you need to be near UFSC. The apartment is in Carvoeira, close to a bakery, mini markets, a pharmacy, and a restaurant. There’s a decent amount of space in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, and the bedroom has split air conditioning. Upstairs units have balconies, while the ones downstairs don’t. The shower is electric and there’s no garage, but there’s room on the sidewalk for two cars.

The apartment was small but practical and clean, with air conditioning in both bedrooms. The bedding and towels were clean too, and the bathroom was fine, with a wonderful shower. The hosts, Júnior and Sr. Fernando, were kind, helpful, and flexible, and got back to us quickly. I really enjoyed the stay. Thanks, and a big hug!
