The bathroom was dirty and old, and the rooms were cold with no heating. The mattresses were so uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on a box. Breakfast was average. A bad experience.

I booked partly because the reviews were good, but I don’t understand them. The website makes the place look great, and the location is good, though several other hotels in the city are just as well located. The building is extremely old. I booked for three adults and one child and was told there was air conditioning, but the living room sofa bed for two adults only had a ceiling fan, with the temperature at 32C/90F!! In the bedroom, using the AC was impossible because it was so noisy and loud, like an airplane engine, and we couldn’t sleep with it on. At one point I opened the front door and the door frame, with its nails, fell onto my head. I complained, but nobody came to fix it. Awful experience. I don’t recommend this place at all.

The pools are nice, including a hot one, and breakfast was good. The location is excellent, with plenty of places to eat and have fun nearby. We had one issue: someone on our floor was smoking inside their room with the door open. We have a baby, and the bad smell and smoke took hours to clear.

The staff were so kind and professional, and the food was fresh and delicious. I came with my family from the US expecting a good stay, but the gorgeous view made it even better than I’d hoped. I’d happily recommend it to friends and family.
