Eco Hotel Oceanomare

The place has a great setup, and I can see how anyone might love it as much as I did. The customer service was easily the best part. They treat you so warmly you feel like a regular, even on your first visit, and really make you feel at home. Andrea, Cinzia, and the whole crew, thanks for all the care and attention you gave my family! 😁

Really enjoyed the place. The people are lovely, and my room was comfortable. It had two beds, a small table with two chairs, a TV in the living room, a bathroom, and a very cool suite. Great place to relax and play with the kids. Thanks, everyone!

We stayed at Pousada Oceanomare over Christmas 2013 for 12 days and had a very nice time. The pool was just as pretty as it looked online, and our rooms were clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. The staff were among the most helpful and accommodating I’ve dealt with. The breakfast was mediocre but passable. Also, on some days the pool got crowded with families because people who weren’t guests could pay to use it. Those were minor issues, and they may have changed by the time I’m writing this a year later. You really need a car here. It’s a drive to the beaches and the city center, but Floripa has so much to see that you’ll want one anyway. I definitely recommend it.

Avoid this place. The rooms smell of urine, the sheets are dirty, there are cockroaches, and the pool is visibly filthy. The walls are thin wooden panels, like a cheap shed, and rodents can get into them. You can hear them scurrying back and forth behind the wall while you’re trying to sleep. They claim an old, worthless TripAdvisor award from over a decade ago alongside what I believe are fake reviews, which feels like false advertising. The TV is tiny and doesn’t work properly, the air conditioning is broken, and the stairs feel like a death trap. You’d need a tetanus shot before opening the fridge. Environmental health should shut the place down. Get a nice Airbnb instead.
