Aurea, the owner, is such a lovely person. I've stayed at a lot of guesthouses, and this one surprised me in the best way. Just wonderful. I highly recommend it.

The location and facilities were great, and the place had a lovely feel to it. The owner welcomed us warmly and was always available if we needed anything, while still giving us our privacy. We'd definitely come back. 👍🙏☮️

I've been staying in Dona Aurea's flats for more than a month while studying and working from home, and it's been a great place to live. The kitchen has the basic utensils, and the house is clean and organized, with a welcoming feel from all the plants and decorations she made herself. The internet is great, the shower works really well, and the rooms get plenty of light. Barra da Lagoa beach is less than a five-minute walk away, with trails and natural pools nearby too. There are two good markets close by, and Mercado Harmonia delivers groceries to Dona Aurea's house, which is so handy. There's also a TV with programming, comfortable furnishings, space for your things, and even rugs around the house, a sweet touch. I really recommend staying here, whether for a short visit or a longer stretch.
