The room was clean and in good shape, and the pool and amenities were great. But this place may have been four-star a long time ago. You pay for that rating and get motel-like service. Other rooms had loud music at night or at 7 am, and the hotel didn't care. Guests also left shoes in the corridors.

The noise was awful, as if the hotel had no soundproofing, and the building itself is old. Staff didn't do much to deal with the problems we ran into. We also felt uncomfortable with the front desk, especially as a couple, and weren't made to feel welcome. I've stayed in plenty of hotels around the world. I'm a banker and my partner is a manager with Qantas Airlines, so we've had lots of hotel experience, but this was a huge letdown. We'll never come back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The pool was nice, the lobby bar service was great, and the offsite area next door was lovely, with fun things to do and good food options. The rooms are spacious and nice, though I'd give the bedding 3 out of 5. The food was only okay. Breakfast was basically pastries, eggs, and bacon. A dog in the room next to us barked from 5 am until noon while we were trying to sleep after going to bed at 2 am. The hotel allows pets. We told the front desk we wanted to check out and stay somewhere else because of the disturbance. They offered partial credit for the unused nights, but it had to be used on a reservation more than 15 days away and within a year. The customer service around this wasn't good. I'd rate the hotel 3 out of 5, though better food and customer service would make me give it five stars.

The good points were the spacious rooms with balconies, the location in Jurerê near the beach, and the restaurants between the hotel and beach, where you can get good food. There are also plenty of activities at the hotel, including pools, a gym, and game rooms with ping pong, pool tables, PS5, and more. But the rooms are really old. The internet in mine was very unstable at about 7 mb/sec. Housekeeping didn't change the bed linens, and I slept on the same ones for a week. The linens and sofa had stains and holes, and the towels were poor quality. Breakfast was the same every day, with few options. I've stayed in several hotels, and I didn't expect perfection from a four-star place, but there were a lot of bad sides. For visitors, the game room has 200 mb/s internet, or you can use the restaurant area for better access. The hotel should renovate the rooms and replace the furniture, add cleaning staff so rooms are cleaned better, test and fix the internet throughout the property so guests get at least 50 mb/s in their rooms, and add more variety to breakfast.
