Canto Da Mole

A good place to stay, with a very good breakfast. It’s well located, clean, and nicely designed.

The location right beside Praia Mole is the standout, and the pousada itself is nice. Juvenal and Alice were also good to deal with. There are some easy fixes that would make a difference, though. In our loft, the WC wasn’t secured properly, one of the side windows was broken, and the air conditioner seemed to need a thorough filter cleaning. We also couldn’t adjust the airflow, so it blew straight at the bed all night. It was a good stay, but those issues could be addressed. Having to pay the whole amount at once, with no option to split the payment, felt quite inflexible.

We enjoyed the pousada and its convenient spot right beside Praia Mole. It’s clean and sits in a quiet, green area, with a small but clean pool and a place to relax. Breakfast is basic but well prepared, and the attentive caretakers are up for a good chat. Be sure to ask carefully which room will be available.

The room is so tiny that the bed takes up nearly all the space. There’s nowhere to put a suitcase and no minibar. There is a refrigerator downstairs in a cluttered room that guests can use for their things. The air conditioning doesn’t work, and when I told the person in charge, he got angry and spoke to guests without respect or manners. Breakfast was awful, basically a toasted sandwich, eggs, and coffee. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even for one day.
