Casa Quinta da Margem

The place itself was lovely and everything there was fine. The Uruguayan cleaning lady was especially kind, including when she served breakfast. Her coworker was friendly too, but seemed less considerate; maybe the language difference played a part. My one real complaint is how the booking was handled through an outside company. They sent one price, then after I’d gone through the whole process they told me the actual price including their services. If you don’t understand the language, they really should explain that clearly from the start.

People here were so friendly and attentive, and I’d happily come back a thousand times. The facilities and service were both a 10/10, and breakfast was included in our package. The location is central, with restaurants, markets, pharmacies, and gas stations nearby. We even spotted capybaras in the area. 🇨🇱🇨🇱

The place is wonderful, but we had a bad experience with the cleanliness. We were without the TV for a whole week even though I booked a room with one. Breakfast was the same every day, and the cups sometimes arrived in the basket dusty. The bathtub was unusable too, when we turned on the jets, a lot of dirt came out. If they improve the cleaning and breakfast, this could be an excellent place. As it is, it’s nowhere near five stars, so I’m giving it one.

We were welcomed really warmly, and the room we had was okay. The view over the lagoon channel and the location are both excellent. Breakfast was good too.
