The common area is so practical: you can cook and eat there, and use all the equipment, including utensils, a grill, griddle, and ovens. Everything is well organized and very clean, and staff are always around. The women are all very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and have all the essentials, with impeccable service. It’s safe, has parking, and is in a quiet area close to the beach. You can also use the washing machines and hang your clothes in a shared area. The owner is kind and sweet. It’s a pleasure to stay at the inn, and I highly recommend it, 10/10. They allow dogs!

The staff were so cheerful and helpful, and they send a really neat folder of recommendations before you arrive. The place is spotless, with loads of useful things like umbrellas, loungers, laundry facilities, and a barbecue area with all the gear. Our room was clean and the cleaning was good. I only wish the linen changes happened as often as the cleaning, but still, 10/10. It’s a great base in Barra da Lagoa, close to the beach and the center. They also sell lovely, good quality shirts, hats, and tote bags. There aren’t many souvenirs in Lagoa’s center, so we bought some there. Thanks so much for having us! 😊

The location was really handy, near the beach, restaurants, a café, pharmacy, and supermarket. They even helped us find an Uber, Douglas, for our early morning airport trip, and made check-in easy. We could leave our bags there too. Our suite didn’t have a kitchen, but it came with a microwave, dishes, cutlery, cups, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, and an iron. There’s also a fully equipped shared kitchen, plus hammocks, board games, and beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to borrow. Everything was clean and organized, and the reception staff were so friendly and polite. Fabiana helped me with an errand I needed to take care of :).

The common areas are lovely and have everything you need to eat there, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The beach gear was a big help too, with chairs, umbrellas, and coolers available. We found the inn comfortable and clean, and it’s close to shops, supermarkets, and the beach. The reception team were always friendly and ready to help with questions or anything we needed. Thanks for a great stay. If I’m back in Barra, I’ll stay at Doña Floripa's again.
