Fuso Concept Hotel

The room, restaurant, and heated pool were all wonderful, and they made a real effort to give my fiancée a great birthday. There were so many small details they got just right. I did notice a comment about mold and damp outdoor furniture. I can see that the place could use a little care in those areas, but it's still amazing. A genuine five-star experience.

We'd happily return after a wonderful stay. The hotel is tucked into the jungle but close to beautiful beaches and Jurerê's trendiest spots, while still far enough away to avoid the noise. The only drawback is the fairly long walk to the beach. The staff were professional and very nice, and the food was amazing, with a great choice of wine and cocktails. I loved the chic pool: it's long and deep, with incredible views and comfortable cabanas. The modern design is stunning. Rooms are spacious and sleek, with natural cosmetics, comfortable beds, lovely bedding, and complete soundproofing.

The staff I dealt with were good, but the owners seemed not to care beyond the money. We were told the CEO didn't care and that no refund of any amount would be given. We had booked and paid in full for two weeks, but after arriving from another country, we stayed only one night because we were unhappy with the conditions. This is the most expensive hotel on the island, yet it's nowhere near five-star and is badly overpriced for what's offered. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were poor, there was black mold on the room curtains and green mold on all the outdoor cushions, and the room lighting was bad. There was rust in the private pool, and they didn't uncover the outdoor furniture, so I don't know how bad it looked. The walk to the beach is very steep, which the website doesn't mention. The site also said there was a shuttle, but it was being repaired when we arrived. Getting around was difficult, making it hard for visitors from abroad to explore. The CEO needs to learn what five-star means. I'll share this bad experience on other sites so other tourists don't get taken to the cleaners.

We loved our stay. We came from another hotel in Jurere that called itself five-star, and quickly saw there was no comparison with Fuso. The food was incredible, the service was top notch, and everything had the right vibe. We also had fantastic massages at the spa. As English speakers, this was the only place we visited in Floripa where we didn't feel looked down on for speaking English. Everyone at the hotel spoke it. We can't wait to return.
