Pousada Saint Paul

Breakfast was generous, and the cook was especially kind. The place is clean and feels safe, with friendly, attentive staff. There’s a pool, a barbecue area, and a garage for guests arriving by car. Wi-Fi worked well, and they lend out umbrellas and beach chairs. I’d recommend staying here.

Breakfast was plentiful and had a good range of food. The resort is well equipped and in a convenient location, though the area is busy and the noise can be a real nuisance on vacation. The town itself was very dirty, but that obviously wasn’t the resort’s fault.

We stayed at Saint Paul from December 11 to 21, 2024, and were very happy with our choice. The apartment was clean, airy, and well equipped, with plenty of room. Ours also had two bathrooms, a barbecue, a laundry sink, and an outdoor shower; the suite shower was great too. Saint Paul is connected to Atlantique, so guests can use its pool. The beach is close, and there are several restaurants nearby, including on the same block. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the loan of beach umbrellas and chairs. Everyone we dealt with was warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We’d definitely recommend Saint Paul!

If you want to stay right in the center, the location works, but the noise is awful. You can hear everything at all hours. We were there for 11 nights and housekeeping only came twice. On the second visit, they didn’t clean the bathroom or the bedroom floor. The cooking supplies were appalling: for an apartment meant for four people, we got one small pot and nothing else. When we asked for more, we were told they didn’t have any because things get stolen. That’s unacceptable, and the facilities aren’t suitable if you’re traveling with children. I’m especially disappointed because I could have found a better place for less money. I really don’t recommend it.
