Family House UFSC

Our room was very well equipped, with a shared kitchen and a bathroom that had everything we needed. The host was lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this place and will come back.

I was impressed by how organized and well cared for everything was, even though I stayed only a short time. The location is great, near a bakery, a produce market, and the center. The rooms are well furnished and match the page photos, and the outdoor garden is wonderful. The four-legged friends are eager for affection and won't let you leave or come in without offering them some.

The place was lovely, cozy, and peaceful, with a brand-new bathroom. Everything was clean and organized, and the dogs were so sweet. I'd never stayed in a guest house before and was nervous, but I ended up loving it. It was better than the hotels I'd stayed in over the previous few months. So much care and attention went into it.

The first impression was good: everything looked clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped. But the room was on the lower floor and very noisy. Motorbikes constantly struggle up the small street outside, and sound from the kitchen and other rooms carries through the thin walls. They put a lot into the decor but didn't adapt the structure well. The mattress was awful, with overly soft springs. For around 150 reais a night, the breakfast was a limited basket: two slices of bread, cheese, one fruit, a small bowl of eggs, coffee, juice, and a packet of two biscuits that had expired in July. There are better located options closer to UFSC for that price.
