Hostel Deluci

The room was comfortable and airy, with well placed outlets, clean, fresh smelling bedding, a spacious bathroom, and hot water. There was no air conditioning, but the fan was enough for a good night's sleep. We were exhausted, yet felt at home and safe, with a lovely view of the sea, mangrove, and road. The Hostel Delucci owners were warm, attentive hosts. Talking with Sr. Daniel and dona Lucia was a delight: we shared laughs and life stories, and had a wonderful little cake with coffee. I also loved playing with the family's sweet dog, Nico. This was the best surprise at the end of our trip to Floripa. I'd come back every time. Thank you, Daniel and Lucia, for being such great hosts. ❤️

We'd lost our flight and were at Hercílio Luz airport with our daughter and my husband, in a place we didn't know because we'd come as tourists. I couldn't imagine spending a cold night at the airport with a child. After searching for a while, I found Hostel Deluci. Sr. Daniel answered my call, was very friendly, and we booked a room. He picked us up and brought us back to the airport very early the next day. We all felt at home when we arrived, and he and dona Luci welcomed us so warmly. We talked and laughed together. The place was clean and organized, and even though we were leaving early, they thoughtfully left breakfast ready with crackers, cookies, and fruit. We had no complaints about the hospitality and only wished we could have stayed longer. Would I return? Absolutely! Thank you, Sr Daniel, for your care and thoughtfulness, and Dna Luci, you are such a lovely person.

We only stayed one night because we already had a booking at another hostel, but otherwise we'd have stayed several days. It was a clean, organized place with a pleasant, homey feel. It was a little hard to find since it's up a hill, and I imagine others have trouble too. A big sign would surely bring in lots of customers. Hope to come back and stay longer! ☺️
