Hostel House Santinho

The hostel was calm and peaceful, a good place to rest and enjoy the stay. Breakfast was very well prepared and had some great choices. The hosts were welcoming from the start and always happy to point me toward trails, beaches, and other things to do nearby. I had a really positive experience and would recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place and a quiet way to explore the area. I’d definitely come back.

Rô is really nice, and the hostel was clean and cozy, with an excellent location. There were a few mosquitoes in the room and quite a bit of noise in the morning, but some hostels are like that and there’s not much you can do.

The location worked really well, with markets, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby. Santinho and Ingleses beaches are about a 15-minute walk away. One thing I’d change is adding another water fountain in the lower kitchen near the dorms, and extending breakfast by an hour. The place exceeded my expectations. It’s simple but very cozy, and the mixed dorm was comfortable and spacious enough for a good rest. There’s also laundry and an iron available. Breakfast isn’t mentioned on the website, but it was excellent. Rosane, who everyone affectionately calls Rô, was especially lovely, full of energy and always ready to help. Silvana was also very polite, attentive, and thoughtful. We were treated well from arrival through goodbye. The whole stay felt peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming, and the value for money was excellent.

Such a lovely place to stay, cozy and peaceful, with wonderful people. I recommend it.
