Pousada Farol da Barra

The location makes it easy to choose between the lagoon and nearby beaches, all less than five minutes away, with shops close at hand. It's peaceful and a good place to unwind. The woman who welcomed us was very friendly and attentive. The pool was spotless and well cared for, and the whole place was clean, organized, and smelled fresh. Our accommodation had an equipped kitchen, which made daily meals convenient. There's no breakfast service, but we didn't miss it since we could cook for ourselves. The bed was a little less comfortable than I expected, though it didn't get in the way of our stay. I had a very good experience, recommend the place, and would stay again.

The pool was always clean and well maintained, and the owners were attentive whenever we needed something without being intrusive. The cabins stayed cool even on very hot nights with two powerful fans, so we didn't need the air conditioning. You can walk six or seven blocks to the beach, or take a path behind the inn, next to the Tramar project, by car to quieter, less crowded parts of the beach. Thanks for everything, Suray and Julio. The accommodation was excellent, especially the cleanliness and the owners' care.

The hosts were so welcoming, and we’d happily come back. Our studio apartment had a comfortable bathroom, a TV, a standing fan, and a kitchen with an oven and basic utensils. Air conditioning would have been a nice addition. There’s also a lovely pool and barbecue area, and the beach is about 700 meters away. Just note that the apartments are reached by stairs.

We stayed in a two-floor chalet as a family of five, and it was comfortable, with a kitchen and stove. The pousada has a pool and barbecue area, and the owners were very friendly. Suray looked after us especially well. Its location in Barra da Lagoa, near Lagoa da Conceição, worked well, though I’d strongly suggest renting a car to explore the island, including Ingleses, Jurere, Mole, Daniela, and other areas. We had dinner by the lagoon one evening and loved the atmosphere; we also really liked Nosso Bar. Floripa itself is fantastic and well worth the trip. The pousada offers good value for the price.
