Hotel Boutique Quinta das Videiras

Every detail felt thought through, and the architecture is fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and this boutique hotel felt like a little piece of heaven in the heart of Lagoa, in the middle of the island. I really recommend it. The view of the immediate neighbors from the windows isn't great, but it honestly didn't matter. Just know the restaurant is closed on Sunday nights; there are plenty of other choices nearby.

We loved the part of Florianopolis where the hotel is, with its safe feel and great beach town vibe. The weather can be unpredictable, so always bring an umbrella. For us, though, three rainy days in the forecast turned into very sunny ones. The hotel itself was one of the best experiences I've had: impeccable service, incredibly friendly people, lovely rooms, and a really good breakfast. It felt like we had nothing to worry about. We'll absolutely come back!

The place is nice, but the location wasn't ideal for us, far from beaches and surrounded by noisy establishments. The customer service was terrible. For transport or a rental contact, they had nothing to offer except a 30-minute walk in the sun. NYE rentals in Florianopolis may be difficult, but they could have told guests ahead of time or kept emergency contacts, even for a bicycle. They ignored our message asking whether a spa treatment was available. We specifically requested breakfast at 7.15 because we had a flight, but it came at 7.40 and we nearly missed it. No apology. Their payment system failed, so in the rush they sent a payment link, then chased us daily without apologizing. They also charged us for two bottles of water that should be complimentary in this kind of establishment.

We had a romantic getaway at this charming luxury hotel. Everything was beautiful and top notch, and we got wonderful service from check-in to check-out, at reception, in the room, restaurant, and by the pool. If you're looking for a special place to stay in Florida, this is it!
