Lampião Hostel

The social vibe and drinks were great, and the price was fantastic. It’s a beautiful place in a great spot near the beach, with very clean rooms, the best hostel bathrooms, and a relaxed hangout area. I’d suggest it for any kind of traveller.

The worst customer service I’ve ever received. My stay started out amazingly: the hostel and rooms were well kept, the kitchen was spacious, and the staff were friendly. Then a small issue came up, and Facundo spoke to us with a terrible attitude and kept pushing the matter, seeming to enjoy delivering bad news. Another employee sorted it out in seconds, in a way that satisfied everyone. After that, Facundo was clearly gossiping about us with staff and guests, and their attitudes changed, which spoiled the rest of our stay. I’d highly recommend staying here if they got rid of this employee. I tried to explain what happened, but apparently there’s a maximum length. If the hostel responds, specifics and context matter.

The only problem was the air conditioning, which needs fixing because it got really cold at night. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so lovely and made us feel welcome, especially Gonzalo, Rayssal & Jonny, who helped with all our questions. And the caipiisss were amazing.

The kitchen was well equipped, and the common areas were good. The volunteers were really friendly too. A really nice hostel, I’d definitely recommend it.
