The staff were friendly, especially Salvador, and I liked the hostel events. But I booked nine nights and left after three because the layout and logistics didn’t work for me. Bathrooms and showers are in the living-room area, far from the dorms, and the workspace is right beside them. Noise from the kitchen and common areas carries easily, so sleeping was hard with the noise, heat, and mosquitoes. The beach is about a 50-minute walk, and getting to restaurants usually means arranging transport too. The riverfront is beside a boat parking lot, with only a small dock, not the relaxing pier shown in the photos. I’d say it suits very social travelers, especially people who like cooking and don’t plan to leave much. It wasn’t a good fit for anyone needing quiet or a proper work space, which is why I had booked it for the riverside views and coworking atmosphere.

I spent two weeks here and by the end it was hard to leave. The staff are amazing, and the coworking crowd tends to bring in really great people. It’s a chill place, a bit isolated, which suited me. I had a great experience.

My favorite hostel. The river is right there, so you can sunbathe by it, and the place is huge, quiet, and comfortable. The kitchen and shared areas are spacious too. It seems to attract people who are focused or enjoy living and sharing together. If partying isn’t your thing, you’ll probably like it here. Just label your food in the common areas, since anything left without a label can disappear after a few hours. It’s also great for coworking.

The kitchen could use a few more utensils, but I had an amazing stay overall. From day one the staff made me feel at home, always warm, welcoming, and ready to help. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

I spent 15 days there, working and enjoying the Floripa’s environment. Everything was great, and the hostel service made me feel at home. The coworking space was ideal for getting work done.
