They were kind and made sure I felt comfortable during my stay. My flight was delayed, but they still checked me in late and were very helpful. The location is hard to beat, close to both the beach and the center of Barra da Lagoa, with a supermarket downstairs. I’d recommend it.

The place was amazing, and I’d come back forever. Leandro and his wife were a seven out of ten, the rooms were a seven, and so was the bathroom.

The place smelled of sewage throughout, even in the corridor, and the staircase to the apartments looked ready to break. I wouldn’t recommend this “inn” to anyone, especially since it doesn’t offer inn services. The rooms were filthy: the mattress and sheets were awful and dirty, the pillows terrible, and the walls black with grime. The showers had weak flow, sometimes no water at all, possibly because other apartments were using it, and you were left with either scalding hot or cold water. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. The kitchen lacked basic cooking utensils, and the only appliances were a microwave and a coffee maker. The coffee maker had no jug and was full of mold.

The location was the one good part, right on the main road with easy beach access. But the air conditioner dripped onto the single bed, and calling someone to fix it didn’t help, so I had to put my son on the floor to sleep. Only one bedroom had air conditioning. The coffee maker didn’t work, the pots were old and dirty, and the microwave burned out on the first day with no replacement provided. I asked to move apartments, but was told there wasn’t another one. It was a bad experience.
