We stayed in 205 and felt right at home. The place is quiet and close to the beach, bakery, and market. Cleaning was great and happened every two days, though it wasn’t a full housekeeping service, since there’s a broom for guests to use. The staff were lovely and attentive, and even offered a food dish and pet mat for my dogs. We made the most of the facilities: the heated rooftop pool and the warm outdoor pool were both great, as was the hot tub in the containers. The massage chair was so good I want one at home. There was also gentle music by the pool during the day. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the savory options were especially delicious. The Wi-Fi was really bad, dropping constantly and fluctuating even when we switched among the three networks. There was so much to do that I didn’t mind much. Quiet hours start at 10 p.m., which is great, but a neighbor in 204 apparently missed that. Their room’s hydromassage ran from 12:15 to 1 a.m. The noise came through the wall by the bed and woke us. Reception went over to check, couldn’t find the cause at first, then called the room about the quiet hours. We heard laughter, and it took a little longer before it was turned off. Rules are there to be followed, though some people don’t care. Even with that, our stay was wonderful, and we hope to come back later this year.
