Pousada Vila Rosada

A lovely setting, very clean, and Elaine and her staff were attentive.

Breakfast was a real treat, with bread, fruit, marmalades, good coffee, and orange juice. Our hostess was so polite and helpful, and we didn't run into any problems. The location worked well too, with beaches nearby and easy rides to the north or south of the island. The house is beautiful, and our room was big, comfortable, and clean. We slept really well in the bed, and the huge bathroom had a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. There's also a balcony with a hammock. Everything was clean, and sunlight came into every part of the place. We loved it, and I totally recommend staying here!

What made the shower especially good was the strong pressure and hot water, without the famous Brazilian Lorenzetti. After a day at the beach, it was great for washing off all the salt, sunscreen, and sand. Our room was large and spotless, with a nice balcony and a big, clean bathroom. Elaine is so friendly and did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. The pousada itself is pretty and very clean, with a well-kept little garden out front, an indoor kitchen, and a bright, roomy hallway leading to the bedrooms. There are only four rooms, so it never felt crowded. We enjoyed it a lot and would gladly come back. It's a real hidden gem on this beautiful island.
