Praia Pousada Tatuíra

Really good!

The location was a real highlight, almost right by the beach, with a peaceful feel that made it easy to relax. Pousada Tatuíra was comfortable and charming, and the care put into the place showed in the details. Fernando, the owner, was clearly dedicated to it. The team was attentive and kind throughout, and I felt welcome from the start of my stay to the end. Everything was lovely, and I left wanting to come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a restful stay and thoughtful service.

Fernando and Eduardo, the owners, were very friendly, and they lend out beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach. The night watchman, Daniel, was another story. One night he abruptly told us to leave the terrace in a very unpleasant way, saying guests could use it until 10 PM. It was 10:30 PM, and there were no signs explaining that rule. The inn is basic, and breakfast was sparse and repetitive. Cleaning was terrible: our towels went unchanged for five days, even though they were frayed and nearly see-through. We had to bring them back and complain before getting a clean set. Wi-Fi dropped out constantly. In room 205, the TV froze, went blank, or shut itself off. We reported it twice, but they didn't seem very interested in fixing it. There was no bathroom light on the day we arrived. We reported it, and they had to replace the switch. It doesn't seem like the place is well maintained.

Beach chairs and umbrellas come with the stay, which was handy for going to the beach. The inn is lovely and comfortable, with a particularly nice view from the dining room, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly, and made the place feel welcoming. Fantastic!
