Hotel Central

The hotel made a lovely first visit to Formiga MG. The city is beautiful and has a cozy, grandma-like feel, while the hotel itself is luxurious and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast felt like the heart of the place. Congratulations to the staff and everyone who works there. I’ll come back. Happy holidays to all, and may God keep blessing us in the new year.

The breakfast and service were good, though the price felt reasonable to a bit high. In the newer section, the shower didn’t get warm enough and then stopped running; the next day, the shower stall leaked and flooded the bathroom. The internet was unreliable too, and the walk across the parking lot was poorly lit at night. I stayed in the older section on another occasion. The mattress sagged badly in the middle, like a canoe. It was really uncomfortable.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve had. When I switched on the air conditioner and lay down, I noticed something coming out of it. It looked like droppings from some animal, maybe a rat, but the receptionist said it was bat droppings. I changed rooms, then found old, smelly urine under the toilet seat, like a bar bathroom. Breakfast ends at 9:00. I arrived at 8:30, but the kitchen attendant said she could no longer make scrambled eggs. For this price and quality, I’d look for another hotel.

The room itself was okay, but some towels that were supposedly clean had stains when I arrived. There also weren’t many power outlets for three people, and the hotel parking was inconvenient.
