I wouldn’t stay here again. The breakfast area was cramped and packed, with limited choices and poorly prepared food. There was only one toaster, and its handles were broken. The rooftop pool was awful and seemed so bad that nobody used it. The entrance hall is tiny, the old elevators are slow, and the rooms are small with no balconies. Another hotel stands in front, so you don’t really get a full ocean view, and this isn’t a beachfront first row hotel. The staff were unfriendly, and I had to get my key redone every day because it kept stopping working. It was a terrible stay.

The staff were lovely, and they’re the reason I’m giving this place three stars instead of two. Still, this feels like a three star hotel, definitely not four. You could stay at Magna Hotel next door for a similar price and get much better quality. Be careful about the room: ours had no window and looked nothing like the photos. They moved us after we complained, and the replacement was more normal, though still not great. The sheets didn’t cover the bed and me properly, and I’m only 1,75cm tall, not a big person. The shower was very dirty and the minibar was empty.

The location is really good, and the room had good Wi-Fi and AC. Breakfast was okay, as was the small pool. But the room itself was small, and the towels were old. There was no shampoo on the first night, and the hotel had some strange rules with lots of extra charges.

Being so close to the beach was the only good thing for me. The breakfast was awful, the staff weren’t friendly, and the bedrooms felt cramped and uncomfortable. There wasn’t even a smart TV, and using the in-room safe cost extra. For what you pay, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my 40 years. There are plenty of other hotels with better views at a fair price.
