The room was nice and the staff were friendly, but there’s one big area that needs work: cleanliness and upkeep. There was foul-smelling water leaking from a bathroom pipe. A staff member said it was because of construction upstairs, but that doesn’t excuse the hygiene issue. The air conditioner also seems to need maintenance. No one came to clean the room or checked whether we needed anything. I spent days with the bathroom soaked because the shower enclosure was less than half the size and water got everywhere. I had to ask for help. Breakfast started at 7:30, too late for us to eat before early tours, and there wasn’t much variety. No matter what we paid, hygiene and cleaning should come first. If future guests have the same problems in the room I stayed in, the hotel will keep losing guests. If I return to Fortaleza, I would never stay here again or recommend it.

Breakfast on the terrace felt like a luxury, and the view was wonderful. The place was clean, airy, and cozy. Everyone, from reception to the kitchen, was friendly and attentive, while still being discreet and respectful. This was my first stay, and I’ll definitely be back.

The location works well if that’s what you’re looking for, but the website says the beach is three blocks away when it’s actually three kilometers. There’s no soap or glasses in the room, and getting the staff to understand you is a real struggle. They don’t even try. Towels are changed only every three days. Anyone who needs to know these things can decide for themselves.

Eduardo at the front desk was always helpful whenever we needed him. The location is central, though walking around at night is impossible. The bathrooms were awful: a shower covered in grime, a box with no door, and a window that wouldn’t open. The bed linens were stained, and we had to switch rooms more than once for various maintenance problems.

The beds weren’t comfortable, the room smelled bad, and breakfast was very basic. I wasn’t very happy with the stay.
