The location is great, the food is delicious, and the staff are very polite and try as hard as they can to help, even though they don't speak English. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are a bit small, but they'll do for a short stay. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a well-located hotel at an affordable price.
The room was dim, with poor airflow, and the chair and workspace were uncomfortable. Some things were broken, and there’s no gym.
The rooms were very clean. I’d call it a three-star hotel.
The breakfast was fine for both choice and quality, though nothing special, and the staff were friendly. But the hall was noisy, and at 3 a.m. I arrived exhausted to find guests singing and badly playing guitar by reception. Check-in also took a while. The hotel is apparently the first Ibis in Brazil, but it feels worn out. The carpets are stained and shabby, my room’s AC was loud, and the shower kept switching between very hot and cold. It works for a short stay, like a business trip or a night before a flight. Still, next time I’m in Fortaleza I’ll look around for a better option. My 3 a.m. taxi from the airport cost 60 BRL.
The beach is just two blocks away, so you’re soon on the sand looking out at the sea. The hotel itself is tidy, with simple but comfortable rooms. The receptionists were very polite and ready to help, breakfast was really nice, and there’s a bar for snacks or Brazilian food. A very nice place.
