Hotel Villa Mayor Charme - Fortaleza

The room was smaller than the one we booked, and it was dirty when we arrived, including the pillows and sheets. The AC barely cooled anything and dripped all night, while bugs could get in through windows that wouldn't fully close. A horrible stay. Avoid this hotel!

The staff were friendly, and the location made it easy to get everywhere. This was my third hotel in the area, and it's been my favorite so far. The room was huge, with a huge bathroom and a lovely view. I loved this beautiful hotel.

The food was good, the beer came cold, and the caipirinhas were amazing. The staff were easy to talk with, very friendly, and the service was top-notch. It's a cozy little oasis right in the city and close to the beach, in an area that felt among the safer parts of town. We enjoyed hanging out there so much that we didn't feel like leaving. We were sorry to go, and when we return to Fortaleza, this hotel will definitely be our place to stay again.

We had the best vacation I've ever had, and I'll stay here again on my next trip to Fortaleza. The hotel is beautifully situated, about a five-minute walk from the beach, with restaurants, stores, a pharmacy, and a laundromat nearby. There's also a separate laundry service you can ask about. Someone picks it up in the morning and brings it back in the evening. Staff are professional and easy to communicate with. They speak English, but ask first. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, menu items, juices, and coffee. The restaurant is very good, too. The atmosphere is inviting, and the pool at night makes you want to jump in. They offer full service, and charges go to your room to settle after checkout, which lets you spend your time enjoying the stay. You have to book this place if you visit Fortaleza.
