Ibis Fortaleza Centro De Eventos

The room was small but functional, and the bed, pillows, and blanket were comfortable and in good condition. The corridors smelled strongly of mold. I found trash in the bathroom left by the previous guest and had to call reception twice before someone came to clean it. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30, but when I arrived at 6:45, nearly half the options weren't ready. The staff didn't finish setting out the dishes until 7:00, an unacceptable delay.

It's good for the price, but the room setup was awkward. There was no hand soap, the only bed size was not very big, and there was no luggage space or furniture. We asked for an extra table and chair and got them. The light fixtures are easy to hit your head on, and the pillow sits right over the light switch. The closet was taken up by a refrigerator and safe. The underground parking is hard to access with a large vehicle, and the steep ramp makes getting out especially difficult. Breakfast in the restaurant is noisy, and table service is only offered for lunch and dinner. No one at the front desk speaks English, and although there are door guards, nobody helps with bags at check-in or checkout. The bar is small and in the lobby. This place would be great for college students, but not for a family on vacation.

The rooms were tidy and very nice, and I enjoyed dinner at the hotel. Receptionists were polite and respectful. It's a good place to stay with everything you need, though there aren't many places to eat nearby. The hotel is close to the airport and a shopping mall, with the convention center a couple of blocks away. If you want to exercise, there's a nice gym two blocks from the hotel.

The staff were happy and very polite. The lobby is nicely decorated with a modern feel, and some nights there is live music there that's relaxing. The hotel seems brand new. Great hotel.
