Vila Mucuripe

The shower water turns cold when the weather is cloudy. There’s no window in the room, and nobody is available to help in person. Everything has to go through WhatsApp, and replies take a long time. They don’t change the towels or clean the bathroom either.

The price was decent, but there was hot water only on the first day. The bathroom shower stall was dirty, the internet kept cutting out, and the TV only had local channels. There’s no garage, so the car has to stay on a narrow, busy street. On weekends there’s drumming right in front of the accommodation. If you need help, they don’t answer, even though there’s a WhatsApp number.

The room itself was fairly well equipped and not too bad, but the bathrooms weren’t clean enough. There was no room cleaning or fresh towels and sheets, and the people managing the building were awful to deal with. When I had a problem with the shower, I spent three days taking cold showers while they barely answered the phone. I’d never stay here again or recommend it.

The location is convenient, close to lots of places, but the room didn’t feel anything like a five-star place. The sandwich maker was dirty, there was no dish soap, and there was grime inside the shower stall. The pillowcases were dirty too, and the blanket didn’t smell clean. I asked them to replace both, but they only changed the pillowcases. I arrived in the early morning after a long trip and took photos the next day. I posted about it on AirBnB, but they remove the post so negative comments don’t show publicly. I wouldn’t stay at Vila Mucuripe again or recommend it. Too bad I can’t post the photos here.
