Pousada Da Eva

Loved it.

The place itself is incredible and worth returning to, even though there were a couple of problems. We arrived at night to find our room wasn’t ready because of a communication mistake, but a staff member sorted it out quickly. The bigger issue was the noise from other guests. They spoke loudly and even shouted, usually in the early hours as they came back to their rooms. I’ve stayed at many pousadas, and this kind of late-night noise from guests struck me as unusual. I’d come back, but I’d want the noise situation looked at.

The location is wonderful, and the women at reception were so friendly. For the price, the rooms and breakfast were fine. We were really glad we stayed here.

We spent a weekend here and had a great stay. The pousada is beautiful, with a lovely view right out front. Our room was clean, breakfast was plentiful, and the attendants were very thoughtful. If you have transportation, the tourist spots aren’t that far away.
