Aconchego Lar Cama e Café

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the stay was, and I'd like to return. Senhorita Glória was so polite and warm, and she explained several outings to us. It's a simple place with air conditioning and a minibar, surrounded by lots of greenery.

The location is in a quiet area, with quick access to downtown and the tourist attractions. It takes about 10 to 12 minutes to reach the border with Paraguay. We paid half when booking and the rest in cash at the property. Glória was friendly, pleasant, and helpful, and gave us lots of useful tips. There are two rooms, each with its own bathroom. Ours had four beds, one double and two singles. It was cozy and very clean, and the sheets and towels were fresh and smelled nice. The large LCD TV only gets open channels. The Wi-Fi worked well, and parking is in a gated courtyard close to the room. Breakfast is basic, with milk, coffee, bread, ham, cheese, and scrambled eggs. A shelf would have helped us organize our things, and it would be easier to see the TV if it were mounted on the wall.

The shower was great, and the sheets were clean, well washed, and smelled lovely. Breakfast was basic but clearly made with care. The place is so welcoming that I really think it should be called O Cantinho da Glória. The hostess was attentive and made us feel completely at ease, with great suggestions for outings and restaurants. Glória is a bonus all on her own. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Glória was so friendly and did everything she could to make us comfortable. For getting around, Uber and taxis were a big help. The location works really well for shopping in Paraguay or exploring nearby, and what we saved on accommodation went toward shopping and some great restaurants. There are two rooms, each with its own bathroom, and the setup is very simple. My room was clean, with a double bed and two singles; all the bedding was very clean and smelled nice. The old style TV only got SBT. The Wi-Fi was good. The small bathroom was cleaned daily, with a plastic curtain instead of a shower enclosure, and towels were changed every other day. Breakfast is basic: milk, coffee, chocolate milk, butter, a piece of fruit, bread, and carrot cake with chocolate icing. That cake was the best I've ever had. The car stays in the uncovered yard garage, behind a closed gate. You can take the room and gate keys with you when you go out if you like. We paid half when booking and the other half in cash on arrival.
