The Italian restaurant was the one bright spot. Carolina, who was online on reception, was extremely rude and seemed entirely unsuited to the job. When we complained about the loud disco, she suggested moving rooms in the middle of the night. After an eight-hour journey we were hungry, but the buffet was one of the worst meals I've had. The food was inedible, with nothing that went together; the pasta was cold and came with very watery tomato sauce. Buffet was the only option, and there was nowhere walkable nearby, so we were stuck with it. The rooms are large, with two double beds, but there was no water provided even though the tap water wasn't safe to drink, and nobody told us. No tea or coffee facilities either. The bathrooms are worn and badly in need of updating. I can't understand how this is called a five-star hotel.

There’s plenty to do at the resort, with a full range of services and entertainment inside. It’s also near the waterfalls, shopping malls, and theme parks. A great, complete resort.

The hotel and food were fine. We were there during the school holidays, though, and sound carries through the thin walls. Kids running, jumping, and having a good time could still be heard at 10:30, which feels late if you need a very early start.

The place was very clean and a great hotel, but it's family friendly and quiet time doesn't start until 10:30 pm. Checkout also took a while, so leave yourself extra time for it.
