Casa Da Linda

It’s a cozy, airy place on a pleasant, safe street, with good light and well-equipped rooms. Everything is nearby. There’s no stove or sink, though, so it works best if you eat out or bring prepared meals.

The dogs start barking early, so I wouldn’t suggest this place if you want to sleep in. We had some very cold days, and while the air conditioner couldn’t provide heat, there were plenty of blankets for the bed. The place was clean, the service was good, and the location is near the city center. It’s a good option, though the price felt a little above fair.

I stayed here for three weekends in a row and booked again for a holiday. The room had no stove, but the microwave, fridge, and grill suited me well. The location is good and the price affordable. Then, one day before the holiday, the host told me it wasn’t available. Since it was a holiday and Foz and the surrounding area were full, I could only find a place in Cascavel, 140 km away. I can’t even measure the loss this caused. I wouldn’t recommend it. If it happened to me after staying there regularly for a month, it could happen to anyone. It’s really disappointing.

Staying at Linda’s house was peaceful and comfortable. She was a really attentive, friendly host.
