The guy at the counter was awesome and helpful. We had an amazing time there. Thanks, guys.

I never ended up staying, and honestly, that was probably the best decision. This review is only about the service and reception, though the infrastructure also looked terrible. I checked Booking and saw a room listed at R$ 149,90 per night. I’d arrived in town very early after driving for 11 hours, and my check-in at another place wasn’t until 10 a.m. I went there just to ask about a simple room where four of us could rest for around four hours. I was willing to pay a full night at the Booking price, even though we only needed somewhere to rest, with no shower or anything else. At first, the attendant quoted close to R$ 500, completely out of line with the online price and more like a four-star hotel in town for an overnight stay with breakfast. When I mentioned Booking, she got tangled up, said she had put up the promotion by mistake, then pretended to accept the listed price. She started making small talk that felt like an attempt to manipulate and embarrass me, and put things on the counter for me to pay whatever she wanted instead of the Booking price. We all understood that she’d agreed to rent us the room for four hours at that rate, and we were polite throughout. First she tried to persuade me to use Pix so she wouldn’t have to pay a fee. I said I only had a card, and she entered double the amount on the machine. I almost paid before checking, but something made me look, and I noticed the bad faith. When I questioned the wrong amount, she was unwilling to help, kept trying to charge more at checkout, and became rude again. I caught the discrepancy before the payment went through, but I felt extorted and saw a lack of professionalism. Thankfully I decided to try paying first. If we’d stayed, paying at the end might have been a nightmare. Nobody asked for our names or basic information, the amount was simply entered into the machine. Even after I clearly explained that there were four of us and we only needed one simple room to rest for four hours, she insisted on arbitrary, inflexible rules and wanted to charge a full night for two rooms. Once it was clear she wasn’t willing to understand and was trying to impose the situation and deceive me, I thanked her politely, asked her to cancel, and left. To make things worse, the employee followed us to the car, shouting that I hadn’t understood anything. I understood the misconduct and how desperately she was trying to get a high amount at any cost. It was completely embarrassing. Passing by this place was extremely disappointing, and I don’t recommend it. Fortunately, we found another excellent hotel in town for the same advertised price, actually cheaper. It was very fair, let us stay as long as we needed, and had better quality and hygiene, delicious breakfast, and impeccable service.

One of the worst stays I’ve had. It’s expensive for what it offers, with rooms that seem to be there just so you don’t have to sleep on the street. Maybe a shelter for homeless people would be more organized. There’s a lack of management everywhere, and it’s very disorganized, with a feeling of dirt all around. Breakfast is the bare minimum: basically bread, black coffee, cake, cheese, and ham. Don’t expect anything beyond that. We asked for a fried egg and were told there wasn’t one. The building is very old and not maintained. The front rooms face the avenue, so the sound of cars and motorcycles revving wakes you at 4 a.m. I can’t recommend it if you’re looking for something good, organized, and peaceful.

We booked through Booking, but when we arrived there were no rooms left. The manager, who is also the owner, seemed completely lost among notes in notebooks. With other guests there, she handed out room keys even though people were already inside those rooms. The service was awful, and we had to find another place in a hurry. A terrible place, I absolutely don’t recommend it. Don’t book this hotel.
