The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was OK for the price. The furnishings were old and simple, which was fine for our two-night stay, and the mattress wasn’t horrible. The AC worked well but was very noisy. Street and corridor sounds were bearable, though you could hear absolutely everything; we wore earplugs, so it bothered us less. What really spoiled the stay was the state of the room when we arrived. There was hair from previous guests on the floor and in the shower, and the floor was dirty enough that we couldn’t walk barefoot. The sheets had obvious dirty handprints and smelled like Doritos, as if someone had eaten chips and wiped their hands on them. There were bug eggs on the curtain, as shown in the pictures. The shower itself was nice, but the sink was crooked and leaking, so I had to hold it in place with one hand to use it. Since we were only there briefly, we didn’t ask for another room. We couldn’t relax and were eager to leave, which took away from our time in Foz do Iguaçú. I wouldn’t come back. We weren’t expecting luxury at this price.

We had an enjoyable two-night stay. The buffet breakfast had nice, varied choices, and the location made it easy to walk to the Centro bus terminal, restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel seemed fairly new, and the compact single room worked well for a short visit.

The staff were amazing and so patient. We questioned the Booking.com reservation because we thought the room had been paid for, but it hadn’t. We were polite about it, though I think I might have got a little angry if I’d been the staff member.
