I liked it a lot. It’s a simple hotel but very comfortable, with really cold air conditioning, a minibar, wonderful pools, and a varied breakfast. The rooms are small, but they do the job since we went to Foz to explore and enjoy the pool after our outings. It was handy that we could use the microwave and dining room for lunch and dinner. The hotel only serves breakfast, and the restaurants are far away, so that helped a lot. There’s a Max market nearby, the only place you can walk to; everywhere else needs a car. I recommend restaurante barracão. They also deliver snacks to the hotel, which was a big help, and I recommend ART pizza there. One odd thing: they don’t change the dining room tablecloths, and they were stained. The ceiling needed a sweep too, since a little spiderweb followed us throughout the stay. The reception staff were lovely. I can’t remember their names, but I’m grateful to them.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the staff were kind. But the stay had too many basic problems. The room was noisy, the lighting felt like a hospital, the paintwork was sloppy, and there were no outlets beside the bed. The electric shower had weak water pressure, there was no hair dryer, and the blanket was poor and too short for two people. Breakfast was very basic. The coffee was dark and watery, the ham felt sticky, and the toaster barely toasted the bread. There was no room service, so we had to go to reception to get whatever we needed. We also tried to sort out basic logistics with the hotel, but no employee resolved them. For a similar price, I could stay at an Ibis-style chain and get much better quality. There’s a lot of care and attention missing from the basic details. I felt more comfortable at my humble home.

I stayed from May 1 to 3, 2026. The shower barely warmed up and hardly had any water coming out, and the TV almost never worked. The place looked very different from the photos. What bothered me most was losing a brand-new T-shirt on the bed. I contacted the hotel that same day and was told they’d return it if the housekeepers found it. A week later, when I followed up, they said they hadn’t found anything and couldn’t take responsibility because they couldn’t know for sure I’d left it there. I even sent a photo of the shirt, but got nowhere. It was only a T-shirt this time, but what if it had been something more valuable? Would they say they hadn’t found that either? The team seemed unprepared. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s expensive for what you get.

Breakfast was really good and always nicely prepared, with fruit, bread, cold cuts, coffee, cereal, and cakes. It was a great find for the price. People who complain seem to expect luxury hotel service while paying a low rate.
