Tarobá Hotel

We spent four days here for our honeymoon and really liked it. The room was spacious, well equipped and cleaned regularly and thoroughly. On a busy street in Foz Do Iguaçu, the hotel made it easy to reach supermarkets and get an Uber. Staff were professional, efficient and friendly.

We stayed in November 2020 and would definitely come back. The room was comfortable, the bed was good for resting, and the air conditioning worked well throughout the place. There’s a tour company near reception that helped us find a great nature tour. Breakfast was a wonderful Brazilian style buffet, and hygiene measures were followed during service. The bar stayed open late, and the price was as expected. The pool is very small, so don’t expect a resort style day of lounging in the sun. Still, we really enjoyed the stay.

The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices, and this is the best value hotel I’ve stayed at. Reception staff speak fluent English and give helpful advice on getting around, shopping and places to eat. Some went out of their way to help. I’ve stayed at five star hotels where the staff weren’t as helpful.

Breakfast had an impressive spread, and the front desk was friendly, spoke great English and gave us useful information about the city and visiting the falls. They even upgraded our room when we arrived. A great hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, one of our favorites in Brazil. I’d absolutely recommend booking it.
