Palace Hotel Tres Poderes

The space is great, and the suite I picked was roomy and well equipped. The facilities are a little old, and the bathtub is small, but it still makes the room feel cozy. The value for money is good. Breakfast is simple, though it should suit people who aren't too demanding.

The staff were wonderful, from the breakfast crew to the very polite room cleaners. The TV was misleading, though: only Globo works, and the other channels are off air. The shower water was cold and took forever to warm up. For what they charge, they need to improve a lot if they want to keep their customers. If this standard continues, I'd suggest looking for another hotel.

The room was poorly maintained and uncomfortable, and the hotel ran out of water during my stay. They said the building was under construction, but guests should have been told about that in advance. It was a disappointing stay and didn't meet what I expect from a hotel.

The location is good and it's easy to get to the main places. Our room was simple but clean, pleasant, and well organized, and it did what it was meant to do. The breakfast was very simple but tasty. We were welcomed warmly, and the receptionist was attentive, explained what we needed to know about the hotel, and gave us a great tip on where to get a good meal. I definitely recommend it.
