The building looked old and neglected from the outside, and had a musty smell. Since this was my first time in Gramado and I was tired from the trip, I chose a hotel when I couldn’t reach the apartment owner using the listed phone number. There’s no physical reception, either. The next day, I contacted Decolar and got two phone numbers and two email addresses. Calls to the numbers didn’t work, but I eventually reached the person by email. I asked if they’d refund part of what I paid, but we couldn’t reach an agreement. I requested half the price for two of the nine days I’d paid for, when I couldn’t use the apartment. I think a partial refund in a situation like this would be fair to both sides. To avoid this kind of trouble, especially on a first trip, I’d suggest choosing a hotel, which usually has more services and support.

We only needed a place for two work nights in Gramado, and the apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and fully equipped. We checked out today, already having booked Natal Luz for our first Christmas season in Gramado. The host answered all my questions and was polite and helpful. There was also a parking spot included in the stay, in the lot next to the building. You can tell a lot of care went into looking after guests. Even though our stay was short, we had a wonderful time. We’ll be back.

I’ve been to Gramado three times, and this is the best located place I’ve stayed so far. I felt right at home. The apartment was clean, Augusto looked after me really well, and the parking was next door. It’s fully equipped too, with an iron, washer and dryer, TV with Sky, microwave, and toaster. Definitely worth it.

We loved our stay and already want to come back. The apartment was lovely and spotless, and everything was close by. The people responsible for the place were welcoming and understanding, and we were received so warmly.
