The location is a real plus: close to everything and quiet at night. The employees were also very attentive and helpful. The room needs better ventilation because it smelled moldy from the damp. The mattress was uncomfortable, the minibar was very basic and had no glasses, and the shower barely let out a trickle of water. Breakfast was modest and could be improved. It’s also interesting to see how the owner responds to customer criticism and reviews.

The location is excellent, and breakfast was decent, though the juices were bad and margarine was the only savory spread for the bread. The room had a small window tucked in a corner. Its blackout curtain was made from three pieces that didn’t close properly, so I had to stick them together with stickers from chocolate wrappers I’d bought. The cleaning and little details fell short, especially the cleaning: the floor was dirty and there was a thick layer of dust on the furniture. Even with an affordable price, cleanliness is essential.

We stayed because it was the first place we saw near the bus station, and we were cold. That proximity was the one advantage. The price was high for such basic quality: the room was tiny, the minibar empty, and when we came back from dinner the reception was closed, so we couldn’t ask for water. My son and I went to bed thirsty. I barely slept because we had to share the bed with him, since an extra bed cost so much. I also didn’t find the staff very friendly.

We arrived at around midnight and were welcomed warmly. The location is wonderful, the price is good for what you get, and breakfast was tasty. Everyone was very polite. They also helped us at checkout by keeping our bags until it was time to leave for Porto Alegre.
