Condominio Residencial pousada do Serran0

Right in the center.

Excellent.

We booked a room for the weekend of Valentine’s Day, June 12 to 14, and ran into unpleasant surprises on the very first night. Starting at 10 p.m., the power kept cutting out every five minutes. When we went to bed, we found cockroaches and a large spider in the room. We went straight to reception to ask about switching rooms, but the inn employee was extremely rude. He said things like, “You kill cockroaches and spiders, there’s no need to make a fuss.” He showed no sympathy and said changing our reservation wasn’t possible. They then called the building manager, who was very resistant to offering a reasonable solution. In the end, he suggested we take a spare room he was occupying. The other staff members welcomed us well at check-in and were helpful when we asked for an iron and a hair dryer.

The location is ideal for getting around on foot and enjoying the center, with everything close by. We had a room facing Rua Torta, with a great view. It was a very busy day, but the activity didn’t bother us at all. The place was spotless, the shower was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding and towels were excellent quality. The kitchen utensils were just right and everything was really clean. The old heating system worked, the rustic furniture was well kept, and the garage was fine. We loved it and recommend it.
