This was the worst hotel experience of my life. There were spiders and millipedes in the room, an overwhelming mold smell, damp bubbles on the walls, and the blanket was covered in black mold. Even after showing proof, they didn't refund the R$2444 I paid. I complained through hotéis.com, but the owners wouldn't issue a refund. Now it's a matter for the courts.

The setting was peaceful, and they even let guests have coffee before the usual time if they had an early outing. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety. The people were polite and welcoming, and the stay at Cabana da Mata was cozy. Nothing but praise, they're to be congratulated.

The strong mold smell from the air conditioner and the bedding was a problem, and the internet being switched off at 9:00 PM made things worse, especially with such poor cell reception in the area. Aside from those issues, it is a good place, very much in the Gramado style. I didn't have a good experience at this inn!
