Pousada Pinha Pinhão

I went in 2018. The inn is pleasant, with a family atmosphere and helpful staff, and it was good value for money. The room was spacious and had air conditioning, plus a TV with plenty of channels. Breakfast was good, though it could use more variety, maybe scrambled eggs. Gramado is a beautiful city, especially during Natal Luz. The inn is fairly near the center, but not close enough to walk, and traffic in Gramado gets absurd during the season. I recommend it.

The location was the best part for me, very close to the center of Gramado. The room was decent and cleaned daily, but at some point during the day an awful smell would come up. I don’t know if it came from the pipes, but it could get unbearable. Breakfast was the worst part: I had to pick through the cups because some were dirty.

We were welcomed well, and the location is the strongest point, very close to central Gramado. The room was quite small and cold, though, and the heating was never turned on. Breakfast was extremely basic and disappointing for the nightly price. The bed linens were also a little old and pilled, which let things down.

I’d read some negative reviews and arrived a little worried, but was pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed nicely, and our room, sheets, and towels were clean. The shower was hot, and although the heating system doesn’t work, the air conditioner was enough. Breakfast had a good range of options. It’s a quiet, peaceful place to rest, and the location is good. Great value, and I’ll certainly return.
