The room structure was good, but everything else made our honeymoon a huge disappointment. The service was awful from the moment we arrived. They didn’t help through WhatsApp, and my key broke right when I got there. They wanted me to pay 200 reais even though I hadn’t stayed there yet. They never cleaned our room or changed the towels, so I had to ask for them myself. There wasn’t even a hair dryer for my wife. Breakfast was very basic and didn’t look like the photos. We also had no Wi-Fi for 2 of the 3 days we booked because reception didn’t provide support. The bathtub was tiny and wasn’t a whirlpool. At checkout, the receptionist didn’t even look at us. I paid a lot hoping my wife and I would have a great experience, but we were just disappointed. I work with the public and expect the best at my own business, so I expected at least the basics for what I paid. I’m certain I’ll never return.

I stayed here in August 2024, and this place left me with lovely memories. It made me feel nostalgic. It’s between Gramado and Canela. I got around by Uber, and it was about 5 km from the center of either city.

The room I stayed in was really moldy, not just a little, and had no ventilation at all. The location is good if you rent a car, and we liked it quite a bit. The owner seemed a little clueless. When we asked to have the bed linen changed, she knocked once and came straight in. My husband and I were in the room in our sleepwear, so I had to run out in my nightgown, asking her not to come in and telling her I’d change the bedding myself. There isn’t much variety at breakfast, though it’s really nice that the woman makes everything fresh to order.

Everything was easy and simple. Congratulations to the owners. In a city going crazy over discount apps and even public parking, the inn still has a personal feel, with genuine, real contact with people.

I’d been influenced a little by some reviews, but the inn surprised me in a big way. It’s pleasant and very quiet, with lots of greenery. Across the street there’s a market with a bakery, and next door there’s a restaurant serving good home-style food. It’s on the same avenue between Gramado and Canela, with a pharmacy and gas station nearby. There are also several chocolate factories and shops you can walk to. Breakfast was really good. The standout was the staff, Ana and Vitória, who were polite and attentive. Every cent was worth it, and I’ll definitely be back!
