The service was great, but aside from the top rooms, the place was a wreck. Bathroom doors were busted, and the shower doors were almost see-through. The beds were as hard as stones, the toilet paper felt like sandpaper, and there were huuuge spiders.

The location was the only good thing. We arrived at night to find stains on all the bed sheets. They looked clean otherwise, but they were stained, and nobody changed them the next day. On the third day, they tried to blame us. I should have spoken up sooner. The shower doesn’t get hot, breakfast had stale bread, and there was only a mini heater in the room. I’ll never stay at this inn again.

I arrived and left almost immediately. The location wasn’t enough to make up for everything else. Vivo had no signal, and the location and coordinates on the Decolar app pointed somewhere else. Luckily, we stopped an Uber on the street and the driver took us there. We were put in a room with 6 beds, harsh white lighting, a deteriorating outlet far from the bed, and an unpleasant smell. The hallways were noisy, even though I was there for only about 20 minutes. I booked through Decolar, and it wasn’t clear when I booked that the bathroom was shared. The shared bathrooms offered no privacy, with frosted glass dividers, and the toilet paper was the lowest quality. I used the bathroom, then looked for somewhere else to stay. My planned 5-night stay lasted less than 20 minutes. We asked if we could pay for a room with a private bathroom, but were told none was available. When we told them we were leaving, suddenly one was available. Strange that it appeared in 20 minutes, right? Reception said, “It’s a very busy day here.” The facilities were also in poor shape, including an old chair under an old cover, wires, switches, and outlets. I didn’t want to stay the night and see what might happen. I don’t recommend it. The location is great for visiting the lake, but far from Borges and not walkable. Thankfully, I could book another place that same day. The inn needs better management and more care. It has everything it needs to be a good place.

Unfortunately, I had a bad stay. I paid for a luxury room, but room 15 was tiny and unsuitable. On the first day, I told reception the TV wasn’t working. She said to unplug it and plug it back in, but when I returned to the room, there was no cable that could be unplugged, so we couldn’t use the TV. The air conditioner remote also had problems, and I had to keep adjusting its batteries. Breakfast was awful, with stale bread; a few fruits were the only saving grace. The one positive was that they changed the towels and cleaned the bathroom.
