Great!
There are shops, markets, restaurants, and homes and apartments close to the beach, plus a lovely promenade. At night there's dance class right on the beach, and when I went, there was a circus nearby. It's a beautiful neighborhood, and the beach is wonderful, though watch out for the big rocks in the water. You'll find kiosks, chair and umbrella rentals, and a shower. I went in 2019, when using the shower cost 1 real. Keep an eye on the day of the week, since the rentals can be expensive.
The beaches outside the main area are lovely, clean, and almost deserted, so they're well worth it. The infrastructure isn't very good, though. There's no shower along the waterfront, and the beach stands at Praia do Morro don't serve people well.
We liked it enough to come back this year after our first visit a year ago. I was hesitant because the water was cold, but we enjoyed the trip. We stayed at the same hotel and ate at the same places, and the beach is great. The kids are loving it. It gets a little cold at night, but by midday it's always beach time. Come to Guarapari too, I recommend it.
My family and I love this wonderful city! We saw some beautiful places, especially going in by Praia dos Adventistas. The sea is unbelievable!
