The first room I stayed in had a bed that rocked and squeaked. The old tube TV had broken buttons, the minibar was completely empty and rusty, and the room smelled strongly of insecticide. It didn't look anything like the photos here. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is handy, with a snack bar, supermarket, and pharmacies close by. There's an excellent pizzeria below the hotel, though there aren't many other restaurant choices nearby. The hotel is near the start of Praia do Morro, where you'll find lots of restaurants, kiosks, and street vendors. The rooms were very clean, with good bedding and towels, plus a fan, air conditioning, and cable TV. Breakfast was very good too, with plenty of drinks and fruit to choose from.

The service was excellent, and the location was great. Breakfast was very good, and the bed linen was clean. In the first room I stayed in, though, the beds wobbled, the minibar was empty and rusty, and the TV was really old.
